Former Norwegian national champion Thor Hushovd took the stage in Joigny today. It was the Credit Agricole rider's first win of the season, and his 4th stage of the Tour de France. Tomorrow brings the first mountain stage of the tour. The riders will traverse 8 different climbs ranging from category 4 to category 2 on their way from Chablis to Autun. Look for some of the overall favorites to show their legs on the final climb of the da the Côte de la Croix de la Libération which comes 8 km from the line. Although it is a small climb, it could separate the contenders from the pretenders after such a long day. Also look for Saturday's stage to show some of the overall contenders as well as the climbers to show their true form. STAY TUNED!!!
